Call on sex education.


PRIMARY school children in England should be given basic sex education lessons, a Government review was expected to conclude today.

It was likely to recommend a shake-up of lessons to combat concerns current teaching of the subject is too patchy PATCHY - A Fortran code management program written at CERN. .

Schools Minister Jim Knight James Knight known as Jim Knight (born 6 March 1965, Bexley) is a British politician for the Labour Party who has been a Member of Parliament since 2001. As of June 2007 Knight holds the post of Minister of State for Schools and Learners in the Department for Children, , who has been leading the review, was due to present the findings, as well as the Government's responses.

The review was expected to say sex education should be compulsory in all schools.

This could include teaching young children basic classes on the human body and relationships, with more detailed information being given as a child moves up through school.
