TEAM originally entered into a Sales Agency and Minimum Guarantee contract, an Inter-Party Agreement, and a Purchase Agreement with Call of the Wild in October 2000. Call of the Wild then extended credit of $8,139,428 to TEAM through Heller EMX EMX - A programming environment for OS/2 by Eberhard Mattes <mattes@azu.informatik.uni-stuttgart.de>.  Inc. TEAM later stopped paying on its notes, prompting Call of the Wild to demand payment in full from TEAM on Dec. 27, 2001.

After receiving no response from TEAM to collect on the debt between Dec. 27, 2001 and Jan. 27, 2002, Call of the Wild is now placing the notes in acceleration for non-payment.

"We felt this action was necessary due to TEAM's prior questionable activities that resulted in numerous shareholder lawsuits against TEAM Communications Group, Inc. and its executives, individually," explained Harry Vested, Call of the Wild Managing Member. "Had TEAM made any attempt to rectify the situation with Call of the Wild between the end of December and the end of January, we may not have had to resort to accelerating the remaining $6.7 million owed to Call of the Wild by TEAM."
