Just a week ago, 35-year-old firefighter Ewan Williamson lost his life battling a pub blaze in Edinburgh's Dalry Road.

More than 700 people are expected to attend his funeral service in St Giles' Cathedral onWednesday.

Three of his colleagues were also injured in the blaze. But now more firefighters from the station have been injured in the line of duty In the Line of Duty may refer to:

 tackling a similar blaze in a charity shop in the same street.

With last week's horrors still fresh in their minds, we can only imagine the emotional battle they faced as they returned to the scene of the tragedy to tackle yet another blaze.

But, once again, their professionalism and dedication shone through and they got the job done. Fortunately, those who were injured were not seriously hurt and they were allowed home after treatment for smoke inhalation Smoke Inhalation Definition
