Call it the credit card with a heart.

Thrivent Financial Bank, Appleton, Wis., has developed a new credit card program that allows customers to help some of their favorite charities while they shop. Under the program, the bank donates a percentage of customers' net purchases to one of a number of charitable organizations.

The Charitability MasterCard Classic program was developed "for people who would like to have another avenue to help those in need," says Richard Jodarski, president.
