Call for nominations of candidates.The MTNA MTNA Music Teachers National Association MTNA Middle Tennessee Nursery Association (McMinnville, Tennessee) Nominating committee A nominating committee is a group formed usually from inside the membership of an organization for the purpose of nominating candidates for office within the organization. It works similarly to an electoral college, the main difference being that the available candidates, either invites the membership to recommend candidates for the following two positions in all seven divisions: * Division President-elect pres·i·dent-e·lect n. pl. pres·i·dents-e·lect A person who has been elected president but has not yet been inducted into office. * Director (elected from each Division to serve on the MTNA Board of Directors) Candidates must be active members in good standing and must have given his or her consent. The Nominating Committee will prepare a slate of two nominees for each office. The slate will appear in the August/September 2005 issue of American American, river, 30 mi (48 km) long, rising in N central Calif. in the Sierra Nevada and flowing SW into the Sacramento River at Sacramento. The discovery of gold at Sutter's Mill (see Sutter, John Augustus) along the river in 1848 led to the California gold rush of Music Teacher.
