Call for crossing at school.


RESIDENTS in Cheylesmore, Coventry, are campaigning for safety measures safety measures,

 and better parking provisions near a school.

Parents of children at Chestnut School in Park Road handed a 96-signature petition to Coventry City Council requesting a zebra crossing and more parking at the site.

The council has already received complaints about parents parking dangerously on double yellow lines double yellow lines double npl (Brit) (Aut) → double bande jaune marquant l'interdiction de stationner  outside the school.

The council says it will continue with parking attendant patrols of the area to enforce existing two-hour waiting restrictions on the road.
