Campaign to Feature techies.com Members in National Ads; Demonstrates

techies.com's Dedication to Technology Professionals

techies.com inc., a leading network of local online career resources for technology professionals, today announced a successful and completed &uot;call for techies&uot;: real technology professionals who will appear in the company's national advertising campaign.

The &uot;call for techies&uot; was sent out across portions of the techies.com membership base. Members were asked to participate in a &uot;virtual audition&uot; for roles in a commercial that will kick off techies.com's new advertising campaign. techies.com's advertising agency of record, Digital Pulp pulp: see paper. , Inc., is creating the campaign which is expected to launch this Spring.

The commercial will feature techies.com members talking about their work and life experiences and challenges of the technology field, while delivering a realistic, documentary-like feel that is representative of the overall campaign.

To facilitate the casting process, Digital Pulp created a Web-based casting application that e-mailed a call for entries to a list of techies.com members. techies.com and Digital Pulp were able to view the Web-based responses at the same time, in real time, in their home cities. Within half an hour of the e-mail being sent, 80 qualified techies had posted their photos and statistics, describing their technical savvy, and answering questions like, &uot;what do you love about technology?&uot;
