WHAT: GameSpot, the most highly trafficked games content site on
the Web, and a property of CNET Networks, Inc.,
(Nasdaq:CNET), is hosting the First Annual Game Commercial
Awards and Sweepstakes, recognizing today's best and most
creative gaming commercials on television.
Game companies are invited to enter any and all TV
commercials, (trailers may not be submitted) which will be
viewed and voted on by GameSpot's audience of nearly
900,000 daily unique gamers. Commercials will be promoted
on GameSpot.com between Thanksgiving Day and New Year's
Day, and winners will be announced on January 13, 2004.
WHEN: Online entries must be received by Wednesday, November 12,
2003.

DETAILS: GameSpot's vast community of gamers will have fast, free
access to all commercial entries. As they vote for their
favorite commercials, they will be entered into a
sweepstakes to win one of several available prizes
including games, t-shirts, and gift certificates. As an
added bonus, the more commercials gamers view, the more
times they'll be entered in the sweepstakes.
Participating gaming companies get great exposure. In
addition to having their commercials viewed by voters, the
top-rated commercials receive the Game Commercial of the
Year award, as well as outstanding visibility for free
