A Minnesota company will likely establish a call centre in Thunder Bay Thunder Bay, city (1991 pop. 113,946), SW Ont., Canada, on Thunder Bay inlet of Lake Superior. The city was created in 1970 by the amalgamation of the twin cities of Fort William and Port Arthur and two adjoining townships. with the potential to create 450 jobs if the province commits $800,000 provincial funding.

Claiming to be one of the largest processors of consumer product rebates in the U.S., the company is believed to be finalizing an agreement with a Thunder Bay landlord. The location has not been disclosed.
