California to Celebrate Opening Day of Rafting Saturday, May 1, 1999.


COLOMA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 26, 1999--

California Outdoors, the trade association comprised of more than 50 California river outfitters, has designated Saturday, May 1 as California's Opening Day of Rafting. The 1999 season will run through the fall months on many of California's rivers, a benefit of this winter's heavy precipitation.
