The population was 17,438 at the 2000 census. , USA, is upgrading its third party logistics (3PL) software from a Delfour WarehouseLogic third party logistics (3PL) system in use for more than six years to Accellos Enterprise 3PL, formerly known as Delfour SmartEnterprise.In the process it is transitioning from on-site software residing on an aging HP 9000 UNIX UNIX Operating system for digital computers, developed by Ken Thompson of Bell Laboratories in 1969. It was initially designed for a single user (the name was a pun on the earlier operating system Multics). platform to an ASP version hosted by Accellos at the Accellos Data Center in Toronto, Canada. The company purchased a 41-seat license for the Linux environment and it cut over to the new solution in March. California Distribution operates two warehouses with 375,000 square feet of space, serving 40 customers. It receives, stores and ships a variety of dry goods dry goods pl.n.
