California Water Environment Association Announces Annual Conference in Palm Springs.
WHO: California Water Environment Association, Salton Sea
Authority, 45th Congressional District Office, and Palm Springs
Mayoral Office. More than 1,800 water and environmental
professionals and exhibitors are expected to attend.
WHAT: 77th Annual Conference. The Opening Session will feature a
five-speaker series on the Salton Sea Restoration Project. Mr.
Ron Enzweiler, Salton Sea Authority Executive Director, will be
one of the speakers.
WHEN: Conference will be held beginning from Tuesday April 12th to
Friday April 15th. A press conference with Opening Session
speakers and other leaders mentioned above will be held
immediately following the Opening Session, which will be held on
April 13th at 9:00 am, in the Palm Springs Convention Center
Cactus Room. All press members are invited to attend. Press
badges will be available at the conference registration booth in
Springs A-C of the Palm Springs Convention Center.

WHY: To study and discuss environmental issues affecting the State
of California and provide training to environmental
professionals.
