California United Bank Provides a Bus Full of School Supplies to Canoga Park High School.


ENCINO, Calif. -- Employees, directors and customers of Encino-based California United Bank ("CUB") (OTCBB OTCBB

:CUNB) will be stuffing a school bus full of supplies for students at Canoga Park High School Canoga Park High School is a public school located in Canoga Park in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California, USA, within the Los Angeles Unified School District.

It is located right across the street from the Topanga Plaza shopping center.
 on Saturday morning, August 9, from 9 a.m. to noon, as part of the Bank's continuing program of supporting the communities in which they do business.

Supplies will include a broad range of needed items, from rulers to batteries, and from erasers to paper goods. Recycled computers, monitors, printers and copiers will also be included.

According to Williams, "We saw a need for the community to support the school and its students - many of whom can't afford some of the supplies necessary to help further their education - and we wanted to help. Our incredibly community-spirited employees have spearheaded this project, and we thank them for their dedication to improving local schools in this way."

According to project coordinator Shawndra Rutledge of CUB, tax-deductible monetary contributions are also being sought for use in the purchase of supplies for the high school. Recycled computer and other equipment will also be accepted. She can be contacted at (805) 267-2823 or (818) 257-7700.
