. Rainer, president and chief executive officer, and Stephen G. Carpenter, chairman of the board, of California United Bank (In Organization) in Encino, Calif., announced today that the Bank has commenced an initial offering of 2,200,000 to 2,500,000 shares of its Common Stock. The price is $10.00 per share.

California United Bank (In Organization), a new community business bank incorporated in the state of California, is in the process of organizing. Subject to successful completion of the offering and receipt of authority from the California Department of Financial Institutions to engage in the banking business and insurance of accounts from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), an independent U.S. federal executive agency designed to promote public confidence in banks and to provide insurance coverage for bank deposits up to $100,000. , the Bank will serve the banking needs of businesses and residents located in the San Fernando Valley San Fernando Valley
