 Channel Islands in Camarillo has appointed Mario "Marty" de los Cobos vice president for university advancement.

De los Cobos will be responsible for developing networks and alliances throughout the region. He previously served as CSUCI CSUCI California State University - Channel Islands (Camarillo, CA)  director of community, government and alumni relations, and was former Gov. Pete Wilson's appointee APPOINTEE. A person who is appointed or selected for a particular purpose; as the appointee under a power, is the person who is to receive the benefit of the trust or power.  to the site selection committee for CSUCI.
