California Society of CPAs Appoints Knowledge Development Manager.


REDWOOD CITY Redwood City, city (1990 pop. 66,072), seat of San Mateo co., W Calif., on San Francisco Bay; inc. 1868. Manufactures include commmunications, electrical, electronic, and medical equipment. , Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 1998--The California Society of CPAs (CalCPA), California's largest accounting organization, has appointed Curt Olsen as knowledge development and media relations manager.

Olsen is responsible for identifying emerging issues and opportunities to increase CalCPA members' professional and business knowledge and base of business contacts. He also will serve as CalCPAs primary spokesperson and media contact.
