California Retired Teachers Association Donates $5,000 To Help Florida Schools Devastated by Hurricanes; Encourages More Donations From Local Members, Public.SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The California Retired Teachers Association has approved a $5,000 grant to assist teachers and students restore classrooms and buy needed school supplies in hurricane-ravaged portions of Florida. In addition, CRTA is collecting personal notes of support and encouragement to forward to the teachers and students affected by the disasters.
