California Residents Tee-Off At Washington Mutual Financial Centers to Win Money for Schools; $1 Million Statewide Education Drive Kicks Off.


LOS LOS Length of stay, see there  ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 14, 1998--With a swing of a golf club California residents could make their favorite local school -- and themselves -- $500 richer at Washington Mutual's "Putt for Education" events, July 16 to 18.

During the putt, players 18 or older can try their luck on miniature putting greens that have "grown" inside each Washington Mutual “WaMu” redirects here. For the Washington, DC radio station, see WAMU.
