California Products is pleased to announce that DecoTurf has been selected as the cushioned playing surface for this year's tennis events at the Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.


California California (kăl'ĭfôr`nyə), most populous state in the United States, located in the Far West; bordered by Oregon (N), Nevada and, across the Colorado River, Arizona (E), Mexico (S), and the Pacific Ocean (W).  Products is pleased to announce that DecoTurf DecoTurf is a tennis hardcourt comprised of layers of acrylic, rubber, silica, and other materials on top of an asphalt or concrete base. It is manufactured by Decosystems (a division of California Products Corporation which also manufactures Plexipave), based in Andover,  has been selected as the cushioned playing surface for this year's tennis events at the Olympic Games Olympic games, premier athletic meeting of ancient Greece, and, in modern times, series of international sports contests.  in Athens, Greece. The Olympic Organizing Committee has chosen Deco Classic Royal Blue for the inbounds in·bounds

 area and Deco Classic Light Blue for the out-of-bounds area on all 16 courts. Multiple color combinations were submitted and underwent rigorous testing before the final choices were made. Equally valuable is the fact that DecoTurf, the bestknown tennis court surface in the world, can be fine tuned to provide the precise speed of play desired. All DecoTurf courts have been classified by the International Tennis Federation in all three speed categories: slow, medium and fast.
