California Pizza Kitchen Opens at Westfield West Covina.

Opening to Benefit Homes of Hope

LOS ANGELES -- California Pizza Kitchen, Inc. (CPK) (Nasdaq:CPKI), home of the Original BBQ Chicken Pizza and other innovative hearth-baked pizzas, made-to-order pastas, creative salads, appetizers, soups, sandwiches and desserts, opened its newest location at the Westfield West Covina shopping center today.

The 5,900 square-foot restaurant is located at 110 S. California Avenue off the 10 Freeway at Vincent Avenue in West Covina, Calif. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Guests can dine-in or place a take-out or curbside order by calling 626-814-4400. CPK's curbside service allows you to call in an order, pull into a designated spot in the parking lot and have your order delivered right to your car by a CPK Curbside Server.

The menu will feature all of the popular favorites, including the Thai Chicken Pizza, Jamaican Jerk Pizza, BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad and Shanghai Garlic Noodles, as well as five new menu items: Chicken Piccata, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Milanese, Mango Tandoori Chicken Pizza and a Steakhouse Chopped Salad.

A full bar offers an extensive beverage menu with a great selection of wines along with more than 40 specialty drinks, including CPK's original California Cosmo, and an extensive list of martinis and margaritas. Eight new cocktails, including Pomegranate Margaritas; Pomegranate Martinis; CPK's Sun Splash, a tasty concoction made with Ketel One Citroen Vodka, Hiram Walker Pomegranate Schnapps, fresh lemonade and a splash of club soda; Appleberry Sangria, Passion Fruit Mojitos, Raspberry Margaritas, Top Shelf Margatinis and Classic Martinis will also be available.

Following CPK's tradition of giving back to the communities in which it operates, the new CPK restaurant will donate 100 percent of all dine-in pizza sales during regular business hours on Tuesday, December 12 to Homes of Hope, a West Covina-based charity that is a Foster Family Agency committed to family life and providing quality foster care to children who are unable to live in their families. Proceeds will help the agency raise funds to provide scholarship money to those foster children who have enrolled in a college or university, educational incentives for good grades, tutoring and uniforms for activities such as soccer, baseball and cheerleading.
