California Pizza Kitchen Opens Second Location in South Korea.

LOS ANGELES -- California Pizza Kitchen, Inc. (CPK) (Nasdaq:CPKI), home of the Original BBQ Chicken Pizza and other innovative hearth-baked pizzas, made-to-order pastas, creative salads, appetizers, soups, sandwiches and desserts, opened its second location in South Korea today. The new restaurant, opened by CPK franchise partner Iris Company, is located in Seongnam City, a suburb southeast of Seoul.

The new restaurant seats approximately 198 people and is located in the Seohyeon-dong territory of the Bundang district, next to the Bun Dang Bon Hospital and within walking distance of the popular Samsung Plaza. The CPK restaurant, tastefully decorated with warm colors and rich textures, will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The open-exhibition kitchen takes center stage where guests can watch as all of California Pizza Kitchen's innovative dishes are prepared. The menu features a wide variety of items including everything from Singapore Shrimp Rolls and California Club Pizza to Fettuccine with Garlic Cream Sauce and the award-winning Thai Crunch Salad. A special menu is also available for children 12 and under.

Using only the highest quality fresh produce and U.S. imported ingredients prepared daily, all California Pizza Kitchen pizzas are hearth-baked in an imported open-flame pizza oven.
