California Pizza Kitchen Expands in St. Louis with Westfield Shoppingtown Crestwood Store; Restaurant Partners with Our Little Haven to Celebrate.

California Pizza Kitchen (Nasdaq:CPKI), a leading casual dining chain in the premium pizza segment, opened a fifth full service restaurant today in the St. Louis area at Westfield Shoppingtown Crestwood.

To celebrate California Pizza Kitchen's newest St. Louis location at Westfield Shoppingtown Crestwood, the restaurant has partnered with Our Little Haven -- an organization that provides therapeutic residential care for infants and young children ages birth through seven years of age. On May 12, CPK Crestwood will donate 100 percent of its pizza sales to Our Little Haven. To help with the celebration, the St. Louis Cardinal's mascot, Fredbird, will visit with customers from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.

With locations already in Westfield Shoppingtowns in Chesterfield and West County, Creve Coeur, St. Louis Galleria and two CPK ASAP restaurants in Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, St. Louis pizza lovers have grown accustomed to the unique California Pizza Kitchen experience, consuming more than 1.8 million pies since the first St. Louis location opened at St. Louis Galleria in 1991.

Located near the west mall entrance at Crestwood next to Famous Barr, the newest St. Louis CPK restaurant is designed in traditional CPK contemporary decor, with an open kitchen, light woods and colorful pizza box art on the walls. The hours of operation will be: 11:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 11:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. on Sunday. The dining room, at approximately 5,000 square feet, can seat 160.
