California Pizza Kitchen Expands in South Florida with Opening on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, Florida.

Opening To Benefit Children's Miracle Network Program of Miami Children's Hospital

LOS ANGELES -- California Pizza Kitchen, Inc. (CPK) (Nasdaq:CPKI), home of the Original BBQ Chicken Pizza and other innovative hearth-baked pizzas, made-to-order pastas, creative salads, appetizers, soups, sandwiches and desserts, opened its first Dade County location on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, FL today.

The 5,800-square-foot restaurant is located at 330 Miracle Mile on the corner of Salzedo and Miracle Mile. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The menu will feature all of the popular favorites, including the Thai Chicken Pizza, Jamaican Jerk Pizza, Carne Asada Pizza, BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad and Shanghai Garlic Noodles, as well as five new menu items: Chicken Piccata, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Milanese, Mango Tandoori Chicken Pizza and a Steakhouse Chopped Salad.

A full bar offers an extensive beverage menu with a great selection of wines along with more than 40 specialty drinks, including CPK's original California Cosmo, and an extensive list of martinis and margaritas. Eight new cocktails, including Pomegranate Margaritas; Pomegranate Martinis; CPK's Sun Splash, a tasty concoction made with Ketel One Citroen Vodka, Hiram Walker Pomegranate Schnapps, fresh lemonade and a splash of club soda; Appleberry Sangria; Passion Fruit Mojitos; Raspberry Margaritas; Top Shelf Margatinis and Classic Martinis will also be available.

Following CPK's tradition of giving back to the communities in which it operates, the new CPK restaurant will donate 100 percent of all dine-in pizza sales during regular business hours on Tuesday, April 10 to the Children's Miracle Network program of Miami Children's Hospital.

The new Coral Gables location is the first CPK restaurant in Dade County

and the eighth in Florida with one other additional location to open in South Florida in 2007. Other current Florida locations include Ft.
