California Pizza Kitchen Debuts in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. at Victoria Gardens on October 28.

LOS ANGELES & RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. -- New Restaurant Will Enjoy Enhanced Decor and Full Bar; Fundraiser on Wednesday, November 10, Will Benefit Children's Fund of San Bernardino County

California Pizza Kitchen, Inc. (Nasdaq:CPKI), home to the Original BBQ Chicken Pizza and other innovative hearth-baked pizzas, made-to-order pastas, creative salads, soups, sandwiches and desserts, will open its first restaurant in San Bernardino County on Thursday, October 28 at Victoria Gardens, a new, upscale shopping center in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

The opening will benefit Children's Fund through a donation of 100 percent of pizza sales on Wednesday, November 10, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The mission of Children's Fund is to ensure that at-risk children in the county have an equal opportunity for social development. Because of Children's Fund's unique private/public partnership with San Bernardino County, the funds raised will go directly to provide for the children in need.

Along with the popular BBQ Chicken Pizza, guests also will enjoy five new menu items introduced last summer, including chicken or shrimp lettuce wraps; the creatively designed White Pizza using five different types of cheese; the Waldorf Salad, complete with crisp Granny Smith apples and candied walnuts; and a delicious slice of White Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake served on berry puree. The new restaurant will also feature an extensive beverage menu with more than 40 specialty drinks, including CPK's original California Cosmo, and extensive lists of martinis, margueritas, cocktails and after-dinner drinks.

The restaurant is 6,675 square feet and will incorporate an enhanced design and decor, which was introduced by California Pizza Kitchen in Orange County and Los Angeles in July 2004. Design elements will incorporate warm colors, rich textures and a full bar to create an even stronger appeal to today's diners.

The new California Pizza Kitchen is located in the Town Square section of Victoria Gardens on North Mainstreet. Hours of operation are 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Victoria Gardens center, which will hold its grand opening on October 28, is located at the Northwest Quadrant of Interstate 15 and Foothill Boulevard.
