California Organization of Police and Sheriffs Select Sharp to Provide Security Technology for California Residents.

Sharp Holding Corporation (OTCBB:SHAR) announced it has entered into an exclusive ten-year agreement with the California Organization of Police and Sheriffs, "COPS", to develop and distribute Homeland security technology.

The group plans to distribute a new and comprehensive security alert system to California residents through a unique private/public partnership.

The program, called the Secure Cops Alert Network (SCAN), will be made available to California residents free of charge later this summer. SCAN is a multi-layered software system that utilizes the Internet to communicate selective information to computers, cell phones, PDAs and other connected devices.

Homeland Security broadcasts national alerts and warnings. SCAN is a neighborhood-based system that provides local law enforcement and public safety agencies a method to deliver critical information directly to the residents in the areas they protect.

SCAN users can select which alerts they wish to receive. SCAN can alert residents if a sexual predator moves into the neighborhood, send out a photo or sketch of a wanted suspect, warn of local criminal activities, chemical spills, health hazards, road closures as well as community service information like fire safety, child-seat safety or public health screenings.

Recent events since 9/11 have magnified the need for an emergency early warning alert system, that provides a two-way link between public safety agencies and the people they protect.

"Our goal is to make SCAN available to all of the residents of California," Mr. Holden continued. "We are currently communicating with police and fire officials across the state to make the program available to their departments. COPS is also visiting city and state officials to coordinate the launch of the program."

The deal was structured and executed by Moran and Associates, a Sacramento, Calif.-based agency that represents COPS and other nonprofit associations.
