California Microwave to Supply Microwave Radios for Brazil Telecommunications Infrastructure Expansion.

) announced that it had won a $2 million contract to supply digital microwave radios for Telecommunicaco~es de Rio de Janeiro S.A. (Telerj), a regional operator within Brazil's national telephone system.

The radios, from the company's Microwave Network Systems division, will be used in Telerj's 1996 Data Network Infrastructure Expansion program. Telerj awarded a contract for the expansion of its telecommunications transmission network in the Rio de Janeiro area to California Microwave's Brazilian partner, Infranav.
