Direct-to-Home Video Broadcast Expands in Canada

In April 1995, STS won an award from Tee-Comm for a satellite uplink for AlphaStar Canada, that country's first digital direct- to-home satellite service. These two uplink facilities currently provide more than 115 channels of programming to American and Canadian homes, and this will expand to more than 200 channels by mid-summer.
