The equipment in the current order is for Uzdunrobita, a cellular company based in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. Uzdunrobita provides AMPS/TDMA cellular services to more than 20 cities throughout Uzbekistan. Uzdunrobita is a joint venture between ICG ICG indocyanine green. Inc. of Perry, GA., and the Uzbekistan Ministry of Communications. Besides cellular, Uzdunrobita provides regional and international service via satellite gateways. Dr. D. B. Total value of the Nortel contract is more than $19 million. Installation of equipment in the most recent order is to be completed by mid-July, with MNI providing services including installation supervision.
