California Microwave and Kb/TEL Telecomunicaciones Sign Licensing Deal for Distribution of Wireless On-Line Transaction Processing Solutions.

) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Kb/TEL Telecomunicaciones, S.A. DE C.V. ("Kb/TEL") that gives California Microwave an exclusive, long-term license to manufacture and distribute the Kb/NET family of wireless network connectivity solutions for applications such as Automated Teller Machines automated teller machine (ATM), device used by bank customers to process account transactions. Typically, a user inserts into the ATM a special plastic card that is encoded with information on a magnetic strip. , Point-of-Sale terminals and Lottery terminals.

The system has a completely integrated network management system that supports the industry standard SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) A widely used network monitoring and control protocol. Data are passed from SNMP agents, which are hardware and/or software processes reporting activity in each network device (hub, router, bridge, etc.  protocol.
