Among the nine new earth stations, five are located in the provincial capitals of Changchun, Xining, Taiyuan, Yinchuan and Guiyang as part of the MPT's DOMSAT IDR program; three are in Inner Mongolia Inner Mongolia

These projects contain converter subsystems manufactured by CM-STS and modem subsystems produced by another California Microwave division, EF Data. These new and upgraded facilities will enhance voice, data and fax services throughout the China national network.
