) division has named Don Johnson Director of Sales for the Asia/Pacific region. He will operate out of California Microwave's Asia-Pacific regional office in Singapore.

"We feel very fortunate to get someone who understands the rigors of a foreign assignment and is comfortable in that environment," said James R. Gordon, MNS executive vice president of sales. "One of Johnson's assignments is to broaden the base of the considerable success MNS has achieved in the Asia-Pacific region."

Johnson comes to California Microwave with 24 years of experience in the engineering, marketing and sales of technical and communications products. He served in Taipei, managing system engineering and implementation services, and in Athens with regional sales and marketing during his 10-year association with Rockwell International Rockwell International was the ultimate incarnation of a series of companies under the sphere of influence of Willard Rockwell, who had made his fortune after the invention and successful launch of a new bearing system for truck axles in 1919. . He also held executive sales and marketing positions with Raven Electronics Corp. and Loral Terracom.
