) today announced that it has engaged IP Marketing expert Spinnaker Systems to promote the EZTerm(TM) active termination patent of CAMD in Japan.

When high-speed signals travel the wires (lines) in a system, the signals can become badly distorted if the lines are not properly terminated. This then creates ringing (noise) and radio frequency interference See RFI.

(hardware, testing) Radio Frequency Interference - (RFI) Electromagnetic radiation which is emitted by electrical circuits carrying rapidly changing signals, as a by-product of their normal operation, and which causes unwanted signals (interference or noise) to be
, leading to system errors and malfunctions. EZTerm(TM) is an active termination technique that addresses this problem. The new technology from California Micro Devices provides a circuit design that can be incorporated directly into the inputs or input/outputs of integrated circuits Integrated circuits

Miniature electronic circuits produced within and upon a single semiconductor crystal, usually silicon. Integrated circuits range in complexity from simple logic circuits and amplifiers, about 1/20 in. (1.
