Workshop. This workshop is designed to teach attendees the ISO 9001:2000 standard and how to implement Quality Management Systems into an organization. The workshop is two and one half days and will be held Monday through Wednesday, November 10-12, 2003, at the Holiday Inn in Torrance, 19800 S. Vermont Avenue, Torrance, CA, 90502. During this two and one-half day workshop, attendees will learn the skills they need to plan and conduct internal quality audits. Attendees will learn the purpose and benefits of internal auditing, major steps for implementing an internal auditing program, auditing policies and procedures Policies and Procedures are a set of documents that describe an organization's policies for operation and the procedures necessary to fulfill the policies. They are often initiated because of some external requirement, such as environmental compliance or other governmental , requirements of quality system documentation, questioning techniques, hands-on auditing techniques, as well as how to prepare, conduct and report an internal audit. (Attendees should have a basic knowledge of ISO 9001 standard.) Internal Auditor Certificates will be awarded to participants who successfully complete the workshop.
