California Healthcare Institute Appoints New Director Corporate Development.

LA JOLLA, Calif. -- California Healthcare Institute (CHI), a non-profit public policy research organization representing leading academic biomedical research institutions, biotech, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and medical device firms in California, announced today that Elizabeth V. Goode has been appointed director, corporate development.

"Elizabeth brings us a terrific background in high-tech customer relationship management," said David Gollaher, Ph.D., president and CEO of CHI. "As CHI grows, she will play a vital role ensuring that our organization understands our member companies and that our activities directly reflect our members' priorities."

Prior to joining CHI, Goode served as director, corporate development for 3D Systems Corporation, a leading global provider of rapid 3-D printing, prototyping and manufacturing solutions to a variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, consumer products, medical devices and biomedical. While at 3D Systems, Goode managed the investor relations and partnership programs for the company. She also served as director of marketing for the company. Before joining 3D Systems, Goode held marketing management positions in the manufacturing, government and high tech industry. She holds a bachelor's degree in Art from California State University, Long Beach.
