           November 2002

VISUAL OPPORTUNITIES: Top state housing officials; state and local elected officials, presentation of award checks to affordable housing providers, cities and counties.

HIGHLIGHTS:

--California Department of Housing and Community Development Acting Director Judy Nevis will announce the largest award package ever of Proposition 46 funding.

--HCD is expediting the award of the bond funds to meet the housing needs of California's individuals and families.

--Awards are made to benefit projects in the San Diego Region.
