It is noted for making and exporting carpets. Cotton textiles and goats-wool shawls are also manufactured. . At 180 (Whitesbridge Road) and Madera Avenue. (SR 145) take a left (south) and proceed 1/2 mile to Kearney Boulevard. At Kearney and Madera Avenue (145) turn left onto Kearney and proceed 3 and 1/2 blocks. Kearney Palms is on left hand side (north) right after Jehovah Witness Church (Kingdom Hall). From SR 99 coming for the North: Several miles into Fresno from SR 99 take SR 180 west (Kerman/Mendota) and proceed approximately 15 plus miles into Kerman. At 180 (Whitesbridge Rd.) and Madera Avenue. (SR 145) takes a left (south) and proceed 1/2 mile to Kearney Boulevard. At Kearney and Madera Avenue (145) turn left onto Kearney and proceed 3 and 1/2 blocks. Kearney Palms is on left hand side (north) right after Jehovah Witness Church (Kingdom Hall). From downtown Fresno: Take Kearney Blvd west into Kerman (15 miles). As you come into residential Kerman you pass Goldenrod goldenrod, any species of the large genus Solidago of the family Asteraceae (aster family), chiefly North American weedy herbs. They have small yellow flowers clustered, often in panicles, along a wandlike stem. Avenue and then Vineland. Kearney Palms is approximately 1/4 mile west of Vineland on the right side (north). From I-5 There's not a good, direct route. From either direction (north/south) one should get to 99 before Fresno |
