California Department of Corporations Orders Mortgage Licensee to Discontinue Unsafe Lending Practices.


SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The California Department of Corporations issued orders against a California Residential Mortgage Lending Act licensee for conducting business in an unsafe and injurious in·ju·ri·ous

The California Department of Corporations ordered Olympia Mortgage Corp. to immediately establish separate trust accounts for California borrowers. In addition, the Department further ordered Olympia Mortgage Corp. to cease engaging in unsafe and injurious practices and to discontinue violating the California Residential Mortgage Lending Act.
