) celebrated the grand opening of its 10th branch in Inglewood on Wednesday, August 16. The new branch, located at 2852 Imperial Highway, was officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony A ribbon cutting ceremony is a public ceremony conducted to inaugurate the opening to the general public of a new building or business.

Today's Centinela Valley Union High School District has its basis in a 1905 formation, the "Inglewood Union High School District".
