California Cabernet Society Welcomes New Members to May 9 Barrel Tasting.


ST. HELENA, Calif. -- From Lodi Lodi, city, Italy

Wines from the Society's library collection will be presented at a special Cabernet Sauvignon dinner following the tasting, and prepared by Culinary Institute chefs. Dinner reservations are available until April 29 for $75 per person.

This year, the California Cabernet Society has again secured a private room for members of the media to taste 2004 barrel samples. That tasting will take place from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. Members of the media should contact Sean Carroll Sean Carroll is the name of:

The California Cabernet Society is an alliance of select wineries committed to expanding worldwide appreciation for California Cabernet Sauvignon.
