California Bankers Association Adds Zenzola to Advocacy Staff in Sacramento; Financial Services Veteran Strengthens CBA's Already Strong Presence in Capital.

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 25, 2002

The California Bankers Association (CBA See Capital Builder Account. ) today announced the addition of Pat Zenzola to its Sacramento-based government relations team. "Advocacy is the most important function we provide to our members," said CBA president Gary S. Gertz. "Pat Zenzola is a valuable addition to our already strong advocacy unit in Sacramento and we are enthusiastic about his ability to represent the interests of CBA's hundreds of member banks."

Prior to joining CBA, Zenzola held several positions with Household International, one of the largest consumer lenders in the U.S. While at Household, Zenzola served as a government relations liaison, manager of Government Relations (California and Hawaii), and director of Government Relations (California, Hawaii and Nevada). In his position as director, Zenzola was responsible for developing and implementing the legislative strategy for Household's wide range of financial businesses, including credit card issuers, auto finance lenders, consumer finance lenders, and mortgage lenders. Zenzola has also served as Executive Board chairman for the California Financial Services Association and as president of the Nevada Consumer Finance Association.
