California Association of REALTORS(R) Scholarship Foundation Awards Scholarships to Eight College Students.

"Recipients of an award from the C.A.R. Scholarship Foundation have demonstrated a serious commitment to a career in real estate," said C.A.R. President Jim Hamilton James Hamilton (born February 9, 1976) is an experienced Scottish football striker, having played for eight senior clubs in his career. He currently plays for Dunfermline Athletic in the Scottish Premier League. . "Recipients are currently enrolled in at least one real estate or real estate-related course and have completed a minimum of two real estate or real estate-related college-level courses.

"Scholarships awarded by the C.A.R. Scholarship Foundation address our goal of bringing new professionals into the real estate industry and training them with the skills required to effectively meet the needs of future homeowners in California," he said.

The California Association of REALTORS(R) Scholarship Foundation was established in 1948. Scholarships are awarded three times annually, during C.A.R. board of directors meetings in January and June and at the annual California REALTOR Realtor

In the United States a designation used to describe a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
