California Again Leads US In Number of Medical Industry Executive Search Firms.

COSTA MESA, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--Nov. 6, 1998--California once again leads the US with the largest number of medical industry executive search firms, 222. That is almost 3 1/2 times the next highest state, New Jersey and over 4 times as many as the third ranking state, NY.

California has more medical search firms than the next five states combined: New Jersey (65), New York (53), Florida (31), Texas (30) and Pennsylvania (29). Rounding out the Top 10 are Connecticut (26), Massachusetts (25), Illinois (25) and Georgia (18). Only 40 states have medical search firms, and 17 states have five or less.
