WHAT:               The International Sail & Power Boat Show,
                    California's largest combined in-water and on-land
                    boat show, comes back to Long Beach Oct. 6-9. The
                    show will include more than 500 total craft, from
                    million-dollar yachts to family runabouts.
                    Family entertainment and Discover Boating
                    education information available.

                    Media Highlights include:
                    --  Opening ceremonies including representatives
                        from the Red Cross, Long Beach Convention and
                        Visitors Bureau, the California Department of
                        Boating and Waterways and the Southern
                        California Marine Association.
                    --  More than 175 sail and powerboats in the
                        water.
                    --  More than 325 boats in the Convention Center.
                    --  30,000 square feet of accessory displays
                        including electronics, maintenance items,
                        motors and more.

WHEN:               Thursday, Oct. 6 - Sunday, Oct. 9
                    Thursday 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
                    Friday 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
                    Saturday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
                    Sunday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
                    (Please note: in-water exhibits will close daily
                    at dusk; approximately 7 p.m.)

WHERE:              Long Beach Convention Center and Shoreline Village
                    Note: layout of the show has changed this year.
                    The main entrance of the show will be located at
                    the front side of the Convention Center facing
                    Pine Avenue. The in-water portion has moved to the
                    Rainbow Marina at Shoreline Village.

WHO:                The International Sail & Power Boat Show is being
                    produced by the Southern California Marine
                    Association (SCMA) and presented by the Automobile
                    Club of Southern California, and Dodge is the
                    show's Exclusive Automotive Sponsor this year.
