Calibre Press Adds Veteran Editor and Product Manager to Enhance Law Enforcement Training Programs.

Linda Rustin has also joined the Calibre Press family as product manager to develop and manage the company's educational and training materials for law enforcement.

As Newsline's editor, Wilkison will be responsible for writing important, timely content such as new survival tactics, legal developments, police products, offender weaponry and other issues vital to law enforcement officers. Previously, Wilkison worked as a reporter and editor for several newspapers in Texas. In addition, she also worked in the Texas Senate as a press secretary and legislative aide. Wilkison earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and Spanish from Baylor University Baylor University, mainly at Waco, Tex.; coeducational; chartered and opened 1845 by Baptists (see Baylor, Robert E. B.) at Independence, moved 1886 and absorbed Waco Univ. (chartered 1861). The library has a noted Robert Browning collection.  

As product manager, Rustin will be responsible for law enforcement products offered in Calibre Press' Survival Selections catalog such as books, tapes and CD-ROMs. Rustin's 14 years of experience includes leading product development teams and launching products, as well as determining product strategy through processes such as market sizing, posititioning, forecasting and competitive analysis.

Prior to Calibre Press, Rustin served as national merchandising manager for Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages (CSAB) is a unit of Cadbury Schweppes plc that handles its parent's core United States beverage business. It is the largest division of Cadbury Schweppes.
