After the discovery of the memo by the Calgary Herald (October 20), the CHR, facing a mounting barrage of criticism, beat a hasty retreat and declared it had no such plans. Meanwhile in one care centre, signs referring to "the chapel" are to be replaced by ones referring to the "auditorium" (Christian Week, Nov. 11/03).
