Caleb Caleb (kā`lĕb), in the Bible, principal spy sent into Canaan, noted for his faithfulness to God. The name is mentioned elsewhere, apparently in connection with a clan inhabiting S ancient Palestine. An alternate form is Chelubai.  Technology announced today that Korea-based Kabool Electronics has agreed to become a production partner to help meet the demand for Caleb drives. Kabool Electronics, established in 1989, began as a magnetic head manufacturer. By 1993, the company had grown large enough to set up a second facility in Sri Lanka Sri Lanka (srē läng`kə) [Sinhalese,=resplendent land], formerly Ceylon, ancient Taprobane, officially Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, island republic (2005 est. pop. . The Kabool strategy is three-fold: to provide quality products, deliver them on time, and lastly, maintain competitive pricing. Building Caleb Technology drives will be a new challenge for Kabool, for, up until now, they have been mainly considered a head-stack manufacturer. The new alliance between Caleb and Kabool will result in 1.5 million new drives to be produced per year.

Jay Cho, Vice President of Caleb Technology, stated: "We are very happy about our latest agreement with Kabool Electronics. This is a fantastic transition opportunity for them to switch from a head-stack manufacturer to a drive manufacturer. Their facilities are fully equipped and staffed, which will result in quick turn-around time. We are very impressed im·press 1
