Caldy.....................38 Westoe ..................15 CALDY made a dream start to their National Two North campaign at the expense of promoted Westoe.

Caldy generally had the edge. They piled up 24 points in as many minutes with wind advantage in the opening period and thereafter never looked like losing.

Clark  put his twin brother Chris away for their opening try. Rayner had earlier kicked a penalty making it 24-8 at the break.

Arnold capped a great display with two further touch downs both goaled by Vasey but Westoe had the last say with James Clark racing 40 metres to cross and Rayner converting in the dying moments.
