CalciTech Receives Provisional Permit Approval.

Update on Vitafoods 2007

MAGDEBURG, Germany -- CalciTech Ltd. (Plus Markets:CLK) (OTCBB:CLKTF) announces that further to its 11th April press release, the Company has now received a provisional approval of its application from the Landesverwaltungsamt of Saxony Anhalt, for the total building permit in respect of its planned 100,000 tpa SCC plant in Leuna, Germany.

This approval is subject to ensuring conformity with Leuna City regulations when the final documentation will be provided. In the meantime, this allows CalciTech to complete the House Bank due diligence requirements in order to allow final processing of grant and guarantee applications.

Roger Leopard, CalciTech's CEO, stated, "Although these necessary delays are frustrating, the provisional permit approval is very positive and allows us to move forward on our project towards completion of project finance. As has always been our policy, we will make further statements as material events affecting our progress occur."

Vitafoods, an important trade fair for specialty food ingredients, is a major platform for premium products within the food sector. CalciTech's CalciSP(TM)was first showcased at Vitafoods 2006, where the Company attracted significant interest.
