CalPERS board election completed.SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 13, 1994--Elections have been completed for the three available Board of Administration positions for the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS). Board President Dr. William D. Crist and Kurato Shimada were both reelected for a third term, and Michael Flaherman was elected to a first term as the Public Agency representative. The terms for all three board members run through January 1999. Crist, who was first elected as president of the board in January 1992, has served on the board as the state member representative since January 1987. In addition to his elected duties, Crist also serves on numerous board committees including vice chair of the Investment Committee.
