, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 1999--The California California (kăl'ĭfôr`nyə), most populous state in the United States, located in the Far West; bordered by Oregon (N), Nevada and, across the Colorado River, Arizona (E), Mexico (S), and the Pacific Ocean (W).  Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) announced today that they have renamed Wilshire Associates as the primary general pension consultant to the $153 billion fund.

CalPERS also renamed Pension Consulting Alliance and named two new consultants to a special projects consultant pool for the System. The two new firms are: RV Kuhns & Associates, Inc. of Portland, Oregon Oregon, city, United States
